I was practicing touch-and-goes with my instructor at KPGV (Pitt-Greenville) when incoming traffic announced a straight in approach to runway 20. Instructor performed a simulated engine failure with go-around with me and while we were on the downwind for runway 20 we couldn't locate the incoming traffic for the same runway. Turns out he was landing in the opposite direction, runway 2. With the distraction, I forgot to set flaps and get configured properly for landing. The incoming traffic performed a series of errors, including landing in the opposite direction that traffic already in the pattern was using.
