VARIG Boeing 747-341 PP-VOC arrives at LAX

The late Great Airline of Brazil, VARIG flew it's Boeing 747s to and thru LAX enroute to Japan (Tokyo and Nagoya) and to Hong Kong.

Varig operated the Boeing 747-200, 747-300 and 747-400 series. And I had every chance to get the short lived 747-400s in their fleet and blew it, badly! They were exclusively placed on the Los Angeles Japan routes. They ultimately went on to serve with Air New Zealand and have now left that carrier.
